The Orangerie House

Located by the pool, the Orangerie house is composed of 3 bedrooms and a dining room, which can easily be turned into a hair and make-up station. We recommend that the newlyweds choose the Presidential room.

The Bucher house is composed of 2 suites and 3 bedrooms, a kitchen space with a bar, and a large dining room with a fireplace.

The Guard’s house

The Guard’s house is built on one level. Its 2 bedrooms and kitchen/living area will be ideal for a family or a small group of friends. In the summer, your guests will love the coolness provided by the thick old walls of this house, whereas in the winter, the fireplace will create a warm atmosphere.

Much like tastefully decorated hotel rooms, the 8 Stables bedrooms will make it easy for you to allocate them based on your guests’ profiles.

The Maison des Vignes

Located up a small hill, the Maison des Vignes dominates over the ponds of the property. It has 4 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, as well as a dining room with a bar, and a kitchen.

The Bride & Groom cabin

The Bride & Groom cabin is a comfortable love nest, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful greenery from your bed or even from the bathtub. This cabin with its views on the majestic oak trees and its cozy interior will be the perfect decor for the bridal preparation.

You guests will be thrilled to stay in one of the 8 wooden cabins, which combine both modern comfort and a rustic-chic decor. They might even be able to spot some wild animals and hear the birds sing. Each cabin is made of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

The Reception Room

Set in the former castle stables, the reception room can hold up to 180 guests for a sit-down dinner. You can even consider sitting additional guests on the terrace, or in the lounge bar.

The Lounge Bar

The lounge bar is adjacent to the reception room, and is an optimal location for children to have dinner in. Later in the evening, it can become a lounge area where your family and friends can sit down and have a private moment in an intimate atmosphere.

The cocktail room

The cocktail room and its apparent beams and stones is a lovely plan B, should the weather not permit you to host your drinks reception or ceremony outside.

The Bucher house dining room is a wonderful meeting spot for the breakfast of all those sleeping onsite. It is also a lovely place to just hang out and have a small dinner by the fireplace with a few guests.

The Maison des Vignes dining room is the ideal space to have breakfast with the guests who are staying onsite. You will also be able to enjoy this area for a casual Friday dinner with them, for example.

You dream of a fairytale ceremony... Let us take you on this unforgettable journey and visit the Island of Dreams, surrounded with peaceful water, the singing of birds and the sound of nature. In the fall, the colors are just magnificent.

The swimming pool and garden

Around the pool, the terrace area is furnished with a bar, a lounge area, a 196ft2 stretch tent, and an arboretum. It will be a perfect spot for an intimate cocktail reception, or a brunch. It is quite easy to imagine live cooking stations with a chef serving hot panned foie gras to your guests, for example.

Between pond and castle

Near the pond, behind the castle, can be a lovely location for a picturesque drinks reception.

The Main Courtyard

How about a drinks reception or a dinner right in the middle of the venue? During daytime, you can enjoy a 360° view on all the buildings, you will feel like you are in the middle of a village. In the evening, the projectors will show you the castle in a whole new light. You will be near the reception room, which can then be used solely for the party.

You can have your ceremony in a location that is already equipped with wooden benches, a wedding arch, and a breathtaking view on the ponds.

Your drinks reception will find its perfect location on the terraces, which have several levels, overlooking the ponds. The overflowing pool will bring a festive touch and a bit of freshness to long summer days.

The stretch tent

The stretch tent is 280m2 (or 3013 square foot). It fits perfectly into the natural decor of the venue, and can have up to 220 guests for a sit down dinner. This reception area is equipped with lights and sound for the party.

Aubigny-sur-Nère is a historical location for the Auld Alliance, which linked together France and Scotland in 1295 against England. During this alliance, King Charles VII rewarded the courage of Lord John Stuart of Darnley and offered him the lordship of Aubigny-sur-Nère. The town remained Scottish owned for almost 250 years. This might be the reason why its atmosphere is so peculiar.

Briare et son Canal

One of the main attractions of the region is the Briare canal. Located only 15 minutes from the domain, it is one of the oldest canals in France. It first became navigable in 1642, between the towns of Briare and Montargis. The Briare canal bridge, built by the Eiffel company between 1890 and 1896, is a jewel of the French fluvial heritage.

Gien is also famous for its gastronomy such as the Côteaux-du-giennois wine which will pair perfectly with the local crottin de Chavignol goat cheese.
